Larry Von Deese

Larry Von Deese, 60, died Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at CMC-Union. He was born December 16, 1946 to the late Milton and Dezilee Baker Deese. He was also preceded in death by his best friend and only son Brian Deese on March 9, 1998. He was previously self-employed as a landscaper for about 25 years and most recently as owner and operator of Larry Deese Trucking. His favorite things in life was golfing, four wheeling, tractor pulling and NASCAR racing. He was an avid Earnhardt fan both of Jr. and Sr. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 40 years Ann Hinson Deese. He is also survived by a sister, Millie (Gene) Shrader, brothers, Robert (Jeanie) Deese and Donnie (Pat) Deese all of Monroe. Funeral services will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 11:00 AM with visitation being held immediately following the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 6907 Gus Eubanks Rd., Monroe, NC 28112 or Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd., Monroe, NC 28110.
