Larry Hinson

Dateline: Monroe, NC Larry Harold Hinson, 55, died Friday, January 11, 2008. He was born December 12, 1952, son of Colene Rushing Hinson and the late Joseph Harold Hinson. He was an active member of the Unionville Volunteer Fire Department. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 13, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include a son, Jamie and wife Jennifer Hinson of Monroe; a daughter, Julie Hinson of Monroe; two sisters, Ann and husband Bruce McMicking of Monroe; and Linda and husband Dennis Price of Sylva, NC, and four grandchildren Jarred, Josh, Preston and Trinity. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 12, 2008 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28111.
