Larry James Melton, 63, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2021. He was born February 3, 1958 in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late Bonnie Lane and James P. Melton. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Melton. Larry loved music and playing different instruments. He was also an avid golfer. He is survived by his son, Dustin Melton and wife, Rebecca; daughter, Shannon Freeman; sister, Shirley Hinson; grandchildren, Lillian, Reece, Bryce, Griffin, Roxie, Keegan, Macon and Magnolia; one great-grandchild, Elena; and his companion, Susan McGinnis.
