Larry Charles “Chad” Shumpert, Jr., 35, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014. He was born in Union County, NC, son of Larry Charles Shumpert, Sr. and Sandra Gulledge Shumpert. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Laney Allison Shumpert of Monroe, and paternal grandparents, Ralph Wayne and Mildred Alice Shumpert of Lumberton, NC. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 16, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park.
