Laura Cyiable (Kennedy) Biggers

Cyiable Kennedy Biggers 95, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017. She was born May 19, 1921 daughter to the late Vander Lee Letha Barbee Kennedy. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Homer Biggers, two brothers; Marcus Kennedy, and Otto Kennedy, and a sister Jewel Sifford. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, April 21, 2017 in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will visit with family and friends prior to the service from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. Mrs. Biggers is survived by a son Rev. Edward Lee Ed Biggers, wife Penny, of Gastonia, two sisters; Betty Witmore of Matthews, and Carolyn Sides of Albemarle, two grandchildren; Laura Sigler, husband Gary of British Columbia, and Kym Morris, husband David of Burlington, and a great grandchild Oliva Willard of Burlington.
