Laura Smith Moore, 58, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at her home. She was born July 9, 1962 in Mecklenburg County, NC daughter of the late Frank & Sally Robbins Smith. She is also preceded in death by two step-fathers; Louis Leggett and Kenneth Spence and a brother Frank “Buddy” Pittman Smith, Jr. Laura loved her family, and church family in Dallas Georgia. She also enjoyed planning parties and gatherings to enjoy friends and family. One of her many attributes was sending cards to friends and family to let them know she was thinking of them. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. She is survived by her loving husband Thomas “Tom” Alexander Moore, Sr., son Thomas Alexander, Jr., his wife Cherith, three sisters: Margie Threatt, her husband Larry, Sarah Smith, and Katina Mussett, her husband Jack, four grandchildren: Zaeva Moore, Xanthe Moore, Annezly Moore, and Dagonet Moore, along with numerous nieces & nephews.
