Leonard W. Gordon, 87, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015. He was born in Union County, NC on April 2, 1928 son of the late Oscar and Minnie Pressley Gordon. Mr. Gordon retired from Goodyear Tire Rubber Co. A graveside funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, December 13, 2015 in Benton Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following. Mr. Gordon is survived by daughter, Pamela Carriker and husband Joe of Monroe, 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Baucom Gordon and son, Dale Gordon.
