Leonard "Randy" Lathan

Leonard Randall “Randy” Lathan, 79, died Tuesday, April 3, 2007. He was born in Durham County, NC on June 27, 1927 son of the late Samuel Howard and Evelyn Randall Lathan. Randy was a US Navy WW II veteran and a retired employee of GIMCO, Inc. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2007 at 11:00 AM in Grace United Methodist Church. Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Howard Lathan. Randy is survived by his wife, Marie Secrest Lathan, son, Eric Randall Lathan and wife Anita B., grandchildren, Heather Marie and Matthew Randall Lathan, brother, Thomas Robert Lathan and wife Betty, sister-in-law, Dorothy B. Lathan, all of Monroe and several nephews and nieces. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service at the church.
