Lillian Ann Aycoth

July 15, 1943 — February 17, 2017

Lillian Ann Thomas Aycoth, 73, of Monroe, passed away Friday, February 17, 2017. She was born July 15, 1943 a daughter of the late William and Lorena Snyder Thomas. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Troy Thomas and Randy Thomas. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, February 20, 2017 at Gordon Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Phil Mclean officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00pm to 1:45pm at the funeral home. Lillian attended Mountain Springs Baptist Church. She loved taking care of her garden and birds, she was a true outside person. Surviving is her husband of 50 years, Steve Aycoth, a daughter Gina Aycoth of Monroe, two brothers, Bobby Thomas and his wife Judy of Indian Trail Darrell Thomas and his wife Stephanie of Indian Trail, two sisters, Ruth Laney and her husband Gary of Matthews, Darlene Rollins and her husband Jeff of Monroe, one aunt, Aileen Little of Marshville, and her faithful companion, Otis. Gordons Funeral Service and Crematory is caring for the Aycoth Family.
