Linda DeFoor Purvis, 80, of Monroe, NC passed away to be with the Lord on Monday, April 6, 2026. She was born in Tucson, AZ on January 26, 1946, daughter to the late William Harley DeFoor and Floy Tanner DeFoor.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Richard Purvis, two sons, Jason Purvis (Heather), Adam Purvis (Tanya), 7 grandchildren, Cassie Purvis, Bailey Purvis, Alex Purvis (Samantha), Ian Purvis (Kat), Kayden Purvis, Corben Purvis, Jude Purvis, 6 great-grandchildren, Skylor Purvis, Charlie Purvis, Violet Purvis, Rainey May Purvis, Holly Purvis, Kasper Purvis, Felix Purvis, and another great-grandson due any day, and a brother, Kyle DeFoor (Char).
