Linda Lucille Simpson

Mrs. Linda Fowler Simpson, 71, of Monroe, NC succumbed to a brief illness on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Atrium Health Union, for her great reunion with her husband Johnny T. Simpson. Linda was born in Union County on July 23, 1948 daughter of the late Robert Bernard “Bea” and Charlotte McGinnis Fowler. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial to follow in Price Cemetery, 4817 Friendly Church Road, Indian Trail, NC 28079. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00pm until 1:45pm at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. In the interim the family will gather at the home of Doug and Libby Webb, 4313 Weddington Road, Monroe, NC 28110. Linda is survived by her two daughters; Cindy Simpson Hall of Wingate and Tera Simpson of Monroe, three sisters; Carol Robinson of Waxhaw, Libby Webb of Monroe and Sue Watts of Monroe, six grandchildren; Shaylen Greenberg (Marc), Courtney Hall (Chris Spittle) and Payton Hall, Taryn Miller (Robert Schoneman) Hayden Miller (Savannah) and Reagan Simpson, and three great-grandchildren; Landyn and Elijah Miller and Connor Greenberg.
