Litz Henry Taylor

Dateline: Monroe, NC Litz H. Taylor, 87, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2014. He was born in Union County, NC on February 3, 1927. He was the son of the late Judge L. Taylor and Emmaline Margaret T. Taylor. Mr. Taylor was a retired long distance truck driver. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at 2:30 PM in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends from 1:30 - 2:30 prior to the service. Mr. Taylor is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Long Taylor, two daughters, Penny Redwine and husband David of Ocean Isle Beach, NC and Beth Mumford and husband Jim of Greensboro, four grandchildren Erin McRoberts and husband Jay, Mandy Lockner and husband Adam, Austin Redwine and wife Cary, and Taylor Sparks, three great grandchildren, Emma, Luke, and Maggie.
