Lloyd Cleveland Baucom

Lloyd Cleveland Baucom, 87, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013. He was born in Union County, NC on August 28, 1925 son of the late James Alexander and Rosanna Haigler Baucom, he is also preceded in death by two brothers Dallas Baucom, Howard Baucom, and a sister Ollie Benton. Mr. Baucom was a US Army WW II veteran and a retired machinist. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 22, 2013 from 1:00 until 1:45 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112 with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM in Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Baucom is survived by his wife of 67 years, Wilma Hinson Baucom, son, Terry Baucom and wife Cindy of Monroe, daughters, Lynn Little and husband Heath and Trina Mitchell, all of Monroe, brother, Oren Baucom of Monroe, sisters, Marie Chapman of Lancaster, SC, Verla Rowe, Florence Hobbs and Dean Long, all of Monroe and 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
