Lloyd Lewis Fox

Lloyd Lewis Fox, 70, went into the arms of Jesus August, 17, 2021. Born in Hagerstown, MD on Februay 19, 1951, he is the son of the late Howard L. and Audrey Ellen (McManus) Fox. He is also preceded in death by a son, David L. Fox; son-in-law Bryan Garceau and an infant brother David Lee Fox. A celebration of Lloyd’s life will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Central Church at Lake Park, 3624 Lake Park Rd., Indian Trail, NC 28079. Guests are invited to attend a visitation Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Hwy. Monroe, NC 28112. Lloyd attended North Hagerstown High School. He was employed by Washington County Hospital in the ER Trauma unit for many years and also worked for the American Red Cross in Charlotte, NC. He was a member of Central Church where he served many years on the medical team. His passion for others would clearly shine as he would comfort those in need. Lloyd had a great sense of humor and loved life to the fullest. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Joyce Weaver Fox; his daughter Mary E. Garceau of Polkton, NC and daughter-in-law Michele Wilbanks of Gainsville, FL.
