Lloyd Hubert Hinote, Sr.

Lloyd Hubert Hinote, Sr, 77, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021. He is the son of the late Lloyd Alexander Hinote and Ruth Cooke Hinote. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Rene Hinote. Memorial services for Lloyd will be private. Lloyd served as a Captain in the US Army, serving three tours in Vietnam. He earned the Silver Star and Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster. After his military career, Lloyd was owner of Hinote’s Hardware Stores in Charlotte. He also worked with the CMPD as Chief Polygraph Examiner. Lloyd is survived by one son, Lloyd Hinote, Jr., wife Jennifer of Clarkesville, TN; his daughters, Lorrie Arcilesi, husband Mark of Charlotte, NC., Dawn Gold, husband Mickey of Charlotte, NC; stepson, John Stover of Laurinburg, NC; nine grandchildren, Justin Hinote (Tara), Landon Hinote, Erica Derr (Charles), Brooke Snow (Toben), Alexa Arcilesi, Morgan Schusterman, Adam Schusterman, Sydney Schusterman and Joshua Schusterman; step-granddaughter, Andrea Hudson (Jeremy); six great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
