Lloyd Thomas King

Lloyd Thomas King, 94, passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021. He was born September 29, 1927 in Union County, son of the late Samuel Randolph King & Mary Manus King. He is also preceded in death by his wife Fola Chaney King, three brothers: Paul King, Lewis King, Jackie King, and a sister Doris Daughtery. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 20, 2021 in Gordon Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park, with Military Honors. Lloyd is survived by his loving daughter Kathy Arrington, and her husband Don of Unionville, his special friend, Faye Greene, a brother Clarence King, three step-grandchildren: Michael Arrington, Keith Arrington, and Pam Harris. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112.
