Logan Fitzgerald Laney, 25, of Monroe, NC passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Born September 27, 2000, he was the son of Tracy Fitzgerald Laney and April Moser Laney. He preceded in death by his grandparents, James Moser, Jr and Sondra Kay Moser.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112, with a burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM prior to the service.

Logan is survived by his parents, Tracy Fitzgerald Laney and April Moser Laney, special girlfriend, Emma Gray, sister, Holly Marie Laney (Justin), grandparents, David Laney, Sr, Judy G. Laney, nephew, Lincoln Mullis, uncles, James Moser III, David (Teresa) Laney, Jr, Anthony (Wendy) Scott Laney, Kimberly (Brian) Carol Morgan, cousins, Evan Moser, Amber Moser, David Laney, III, Kaitlyn Laney, Colton Laney, Kacey Laney, Cara Laney, Brett Morgan, Kyle Morgan, Malayna Morgan, best friend, Lewis Rice, and special dog, Hazel.

Logan loved his family, his girlfriend, his nephew, Lincoln, and his friends more than anything. He enjoyed spending time with the people he cared about and made lasting memories with those closest to him. He had a passion for riding his Harley-Davidson, driving his Ford F-250, and spending time outdoors shooting, fishing, and hunting. Above all, one of Logan's greatest joys was working alongside his dad, Tracy.
