Lois Evelyn Buchanan, 85, passed away peacefully Monday, November 28, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. She was born July 20, 1931, in Merrill, Oregon, daughter to the late Dean Arthur and Minnie Pearl Mitchell Spencer. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday December 2, 2016 at Concord Bible Church, 711 Williamsburg Ct. NE Concord, NC 28025. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will visit prior to the service from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM. Lois is survived by her husband Paul James Buchanan, two sons, Art Buchanan, wife Connie; Jim Buchanan, wife Leslie; seven daughters, Judy Arend, husband Don; Pat Jordan, husband Jon; Pam Yerkes; Connie Wakefield, husband Tom; Sandy Marano; Cheryl Brame; Laurie Reeder, and husband Daniel; a sister Ruth Hylton; twenty five grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
