Lois Evan Helms, 90, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020. She was born December 12, 1929 in Chesterfield County, SC, daughter of the late Richard & Annie Laney Evans. She is also preceded in death by two sons Richard Van Huggins & Randy Huggins, and a daughter Betty Sikes. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday August 21, 2020 in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. She is survived by a daughter Shirley Parker, a son Charles Huggins, three sisters; Ruth Hatley, Faye Pope, and Bobbie Deason, five grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
