Lois H. Jones, 87, died Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Hospice of Union County. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and homemaker. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 11:30 to 12:45 PM at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112 followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Danny Helms. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mrs. Jones’s husband Robert, died in December 2004. She is survived by her three children, Judy Jones of Charlotte, NC, Linda Cooper and husband, Neil of Durham, NC and Bradley Jones of Monroe, NC, three grandchildren, Eric Starnes of Monroe, NC, Dorian M.
