Lonnie Wilson Parker, 92, went to his heavenly home peacefully on Saturday, February 4, 2023. He was born in Union County, NC June 28, 1930, son to the late Alonzo Livingston Parker and Velma Yow Parker. He is also preceded in death by his wife Jean Baucom Parker; six brothers Carl Parker, A.L. Parker, Tom Parker, Will Parker, Pate Parker, and Sam Parker; three sisters Mozell Long, Julia Wolfe, and Evelyn Ashe.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 4013 New Town Road Waxhaw, NC 28173 with burial to follow at Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00PM - 1:45PM in the church sanctuary.

He is survived by his son Rick Parker wife Julie; two grandchildren Richard Parker wife Dorothy, Jeff Parker wife Jennifer and their children Leah Grace Parker and Anna Faith Parker; and his sister Ruby Starnes husband B.L.
