Loretta Ann Brauda

Loretta Hargette Brauda, 81, went to be with the Lord on October 17, 2021. She was born to the late Bill Hargette and Jessie Hargette in Wingate, North Carolina on April 08, 1940. She married John Brauda in 1958 the true love of her life and together they raised 2 children, who she is survived by, Jeff Brauda (Kelly) and Tim Brauda (Kathy). She also cared for her brother-in-law Jerry Brauda (Miriam) after the passing of her in-laws. Funeral services for Loretta will be held from the graveside 11:00 AM Thursday, October 21, 2021 in Lakeland Memorial Park. Loretta is survived by her grandchildren, Adam Brauda (Katie), Jason Brauda, Justin Brauda (Miranda), Tiffani Hord (Chris), Jordan Brauda and Jonathan Brauda (Afton). Loretta also had many great-grandchildren whom she adored including Olivia Brauda, Skylar Hord, Zane Hord, Arrow Brauda and Noah Brauda. Loretta is also survived by her sister-in-law Diane Hargette, her nieces, Debbie and Tammy and nephew, Michael and their children. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, husband John and brother Ronnie. Loretta was a member of West Monroe Baptist Church and her faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of who she was. Her favorite Bible verse was Isaiah 41:10, “So do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Loretta was known as many things to family, and was a loving and caring woman, adored by all. By far her favorite things were spending time with family, serving the Lord, watching westerns, reading, lighthouses and birds especially roosters.
