Loretta Gail Hatley

Loretta Burnette Hatley, 64, of Waxhaw, NC passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024. She was born in Stanly County, NC on September 7, 1959, to the late Joe Burnette and JoAnne Hilton Burnette. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Randy Kimery.

Loretta was a wonderful wife, mother, and Jammaw who loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC. The family will visit with friends and relatives following the memorial service.

Loretta is survived by her husband of 48 years, Terry Hatley; son, Kevin Hatley; daughters, Tara H. Boyce and husband Steven and Jessica H. Moree and husband, Jeffrey; brother, Michael Burnette and wife, Leslie and sisters, Jodie Burnette and wife, Lynn Bolton and Jackie Kimery; and grandchildren, Jon Moree, Wyatt Griffin, Jason Griffin, Lindsay Boyce, Lauren Boyce, Declan Hatley and Becca Hatley.
