Lorraine Jones Mcclellan

Lorraine Jones McClellan, 86, of Monroe, NC passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025. She was born in Union County, NC on May 1, 1938, daughter to the late Johnny Jones and Ruby Collins Jones. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Bruce McClellan, two brothers, J.C. Jones and Harold Jones, two sisters, Doris Baird and Frances Smith, as well as two grandchildren, Nicholas Sherrin and Matthew Sherrin.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, with burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30PM until 1:45PM in Gordon Funeral Service and Crematory, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112.

Lorraine is survived by her son, John McClellan, daughter Paula Sherrin (Mark), brother, Robert Jones, four grandchildren, Jason McClellan, Kalin Helms (Jonathon), Jonathan McClellan, and Ashley McClellan, and three great-grandchildren, Ryser, Elizabeth and Waylon.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Oakland Baptist Church, 600 E. Sunset Drive, Monroe, NC 28112.
