Louis Gehrig Brady, 70, passed away Monday, October 21, 2013. He was born in Union County, NC on September 9, 1943 son of the late Cyrus Lamar and Edna Geraldine McCain Brady. Mr. Brady was a retired employee of International Paper Co. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013, 2:00 PM at Walkersville Presbyterian Church, Waxhaw, NC. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 Thursday prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Brady is survived by his wife, Kathy Grindle Brady, daughter, Rhonda McManus and husband Terry of Waxhaw, NC, step-children, Michelle Jones and Matthew Mooney, sisters-in-law, Fannie Mae Brady and Rachel Brady, grandchildren, Tarah McManus Helms and husband Chris, Savannah McManus, Byron and Jack Jones and one great grandchild, Bryleigh Helms.
