Louise (Wancio) Daley

Louise Wancio Daley, 89, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017. She was born July 17, 1928 in Shamokin, PA daughter to the late Constantine Julia Yawin Wancio. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Girard Daley. She was a wonderful mother who will be missed by many including her five children; Maureen Mauney and her husband Lamar of Lilburn, GA, Patrick Michael and his wife Kathy of Candler, NC, Colleen Hopkins of Indian Trail, NC, Joseph Michael and his wife Lori of Wilmington, NC, and William “Bill” Christopher and his wife Judy of Winston Salem, NC, as well as eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A Rosary will be held at 5:30 PM Thursday, September 7, 2017 in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112 followed by visitation from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 8, 2017 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
