Rev. Loyd Lamar Price, 88, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022. He was born August 11, 1933, son of the late Loyd Thurmon Price and Betty Lee Simpson Price. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Irene Watkins Price, son, Tony Price, brother Norris Price, and three sisters Carol Pressley, Joann Snypes, and Bobbie Hamilton.

Funeral services will be 12:00 noon, Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1417 Unionville-Indian Trail Rd., Indian Trail, NC 28079. The family will receive friends and family 11:00AM-11:45AM prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Price Family Cemetery, 4817 Friendly Church Rd., Indian Trail, NC 28079.

Loyd is survived by his son, Terry Price (Angela); daughters Debbie Taylor (Tony), Donna Hinson (Phillip); two brothers, Marnie Price and Ted Price; two sisters Brenda Little, and Wanda Thomas; six grandchildren; Bradley Price, Kyle Taylor, Aaron Taylor, Jessica Hinson, Ashley Measmer, and Mary Beth Baucom and nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church.
