Lucy Bigham Pigg, 86, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021. She was born February 4, 1935 in Union County, NC, daughter of the late Baxter Fate Bigham & Ella Hancock Bigham. She is also preceded in death by her husband Hall Wilson Pigg, Sr. sons: Hall Wilson Pigg, Jr, and Brian Pigg, sisters: Eileen Bigham Brady, Connie Bigham Pass, Ellen Eloise Bigham Tetlow, Judy Bigham Pressley, and Pauline “Polly” Bigham Moser, brothers: Hall Wilson “Bill” Bigham, Leonard Hampton “Mac” Bigham, and Baxter Fate Bigham, Jr. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Beulah Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 8305 Landsford Road, Monroe, NC 28112. Lucy is survived by her son Rick Pigg, brothers: James Love Bigham, Jack Neal Bigham, and George Edgar Bigham, grandchildren: Kelly Pigg, and Carrie Pigg, and great grandchildren: Dayton Pigg and Addison Bivens.
