Ludy Hayes Heater, 90, of Monroe, NC passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023. She was born in Union County on November 18, 1932, daughter to the late George William Hayes and Mildred Belk Hayes. She is also preceded in death by her husband Jack Wayne Heater and her two sons John Michael Sistare and Larry Sistare.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, 6907 Gus Eubanks Rd, Monroe, NC 28112.

Ludy is survived by her daughter Debra Talton (Mark), brother, Billy Hayes, and stepbrother George Hayes Jr., three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
