Lurah Evans Taylor

Lurah Evans Taylor, 46, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2009. Mrs. Taylor was born August 20, 1962 in Tazewell, Virginia, daughter of James and Wanda Peery Evans. Lurah was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Sam and Lurah Peery, and paternal grandfather, George Evans. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the Wingate Baptist Church, 109 E. Elm St., Wingate, NC 28174. Burial will follow in the Wingate City Cemetery. Lurah is survived by her parents, James and Wanda Evans of Wingate, daughters, Leigh Ann Taylor of Chapel Hill, NC and Hannah Celia Taylor of Monroe, NC; paternal grandmother, Ruby Evans of Princeton WV, brothers, James Evans of Little Rock, AR and Joseph Evans of Independence, KY.
