Lynda Evelyn Rorie

Mrs. Lynda Evelyn Gordon Rorie, 77, of Monroe, NC passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Union County on March 30, 1943 to the late Mr. Thomas Gordon and Mrs. Frankie Mae Gordon. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Gordon and Tommy Gordon, A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. Burial to follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. She was a member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church, and retired from Tyco Industries. Lynda was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. Lynda is survived by her loving husband William Thomas Rorie IV, daughters, Susan Wheeler, husband Dennis, Cynthia Carnes, husband Mike, sister, Kathy Laney, husband Danny, four grandchildren, Corey Wheeler, wife Arwyn, Ashton St. Louis, husband Matthew, Faith Windsor, husband Brett and Hannah Carnes, and two great-grandchildren, as well as her fur baby Rudy.
