Lynn (Griffin) Chapman

Lynn Griffin Chapman, 52, of Monroe, NC passed away Sunday, December 10, 2017. She was born June 24, 1965, in Union County. She is preceded in death by an infant daughter Talitha Chapman. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Hopewell Baptist Church Legacy Campus; 420 Hopewell Church Road, Monroe, NC 28110, burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30pm until 2:45pm in the church. Lynn was an active member of Hopewell Baptist and previously Macedonia Baptist Church both in Monroe. She used her artistic talents to share the love of Jesus, through singing, playing piano and missions work. She had a loving heart for everyone she came in contact with. She will be greatly missed and remembered by all that knew her. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Philip Chapman, parents Bill and Dianne Williams Griffin, son Samuel Chapman of Monroe, two daughters, Rebecca Melton, husband Dustin of Mint Hill, Olivia Chapman of Monroe, brother Greg Griffin, wife Amy of Marshville, sister Amy Gregg of Marshville, five grandchildren, Griffin, Roxie, Keegan, Macon and Magnolia Melton.
