Margaret Joyce Faulkerson

Margaret Hopson Faulkerson, 62, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014. She was born in Pikesville, KY on October 14, 1951, daughter of the late Robert and Ruby Mounds Hopson. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Robert Hopson and Monroe Hopson; adopted son, Rell Shupe; son-in-law, Dennis Moore; brother-in-law James Noble and nephews, Jeff Ortiz and Ernie Ortiz. The family will visit with friends and relatives on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. Mrs. Faulkerson is survived by her husband of 44 years, Clarence Faulkerson; sons, Floyd Marsh, Clarence Faulkerson, Jr. and Ralph Faulkerson; daughters, Ruby Moore, Michelle Shupe, Judy Smith and Leslie Moore; brother, Ralph Hopson; sisters, Delorse Ortiz, Sharon Smith, Gledene Long and Phyllis Campbell; seventeen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
