Margaret Lipscomb Hatley

Margaret Lipscomb Hatley, 77, of Indian Trail, NC passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025. She was born in Lancaster, SC on June 25, 1947, daughter to the late William Lipscomb and Ruth Pettit Lipscomb. She is also preceded in death by her husband Billy Wayne Hatley, as well as her brother, Mike Dority and sisters, Brenda Minors and Alice Mildred Lipscomb.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Christ Baptist Church, 2018 NC Hwy 218, Indian Trail, NC 28079. The family will receive friends following the service in the church.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Michelle Lynn Hatley, son, Benjamin “Ben” Wayne Hatley, brother, Ed Lipscomb, and three sisters, Sara Carter, Diane Tharpe and Kathy Adams.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Christ Baptist Church, 2018 NC Hwy 218, Indian Trail, NC 28079.
