Margaret Corter Magee, 95, passed away April 8, 2017. She was born November 20, 1921 in Passaic County, NJ, daughter to the late Jacob Alice McGrath Corter. She is also preceded in death by three sons Raymond Breen, Howard Breen, and Glenn Breen, a daughter-in-law, Florence Breen, a son-in-law, Edward B. Hanrahan, III, and a granddaughter. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 11, 2017 in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe, NC 28112. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and family prior to the service from 12:00 noon until 1:45 PM at the funeral home. Margaret is survived by her loving husband, Charles Magee, a son Dennis Breen, and wife Mary of Monroe, a daughter Dorothy Hanrahan of Newport, VA, a daughter-in-law, Nan Breen, two sisters; Gladys Burd and Mary Jobes, fourteen grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
