Mrs. Margaret Carter McCain, 75, of Waxhaw, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015, at her home. She was born March 12, 1940, in Lancaster, SC, to the late Grady and Sara Sneed Carter. An active member of Hermon Baptist Church, Mrs. McCain retired from Union County Schools. She is survived by her husband, Mr. Webster Brice McCain; son, Greg McCain and wife, Heather; daughter, Jennifer McCain Reeves and husband, Barry; brothers, T.C. Carter and Frank Carter; sister, Brenda Price; and grandchildren, Hannah, Luke, Will, Colin, Addison, and Camden. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda Godfrey. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, August 3, 2015, Hermon Baptist Church. The family will visit prior to the service beginning at 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM.
