Margaret (Crockett) Sims

Margaret C. Sims, 72, of Monroe, NC, passed peacefully October 23, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was born January 22, 1943, in Alabama, the daughter of the late John and Hazel Crockett and sister of the late Wayne Crockett She is survived by her husband and soul mate of 53 years, Larry Sims of Monroe, NC; son, Keith Sims of Waxhaw, NC; daughter, Amy Gregory of Sarasota, FL; granddaughter, Bailey Sims of Waxhaw, NC, grandson, Justin Gregory of VA; brother, Davy Crockett of Ft Myers, FL; sister, Judy Rozzelle of Davidson, NC; and her beloved dog, Murphy. A memorial service will be held in the Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC, 28112, on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00am.
