Margaret Emma Spanke, 47, passed away in her residence. She was born April 22, 1970 in Port Huron, MI daughter to Emile Margaret Rinscheid Spanke and the late David Anthony Spanke. She is also preceded in death by her Uncle Stanlee Spanke. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, 1106 W. Sandy Ridge Road, Monroe, NC 28112. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday July 29, 2017 at Matthews Church of God, 517 East John St., Matthews, NC 28105. She was a faithful member of Matthews Church of God, where she served in the choir, taught Sunday School, and was involved in several other areas of volunteer work. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and church family. She was the youngest of seven siblings. In addition to her mother Emile Spanke, she is survived by four brothers, Michael MacDonald, Thomas MacDonald, David Spanke, and Kirk MacDonald, two sisters, Dawn Newton, and Vickie Berger, and several nieces and nephews, that she took great pride being an Aunt.
