Margie Louise Aldridge

Dateline: Monroe, NC Margie Louise Aldridge, 85, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2010. She was born in Chesterfield County, SC April 13, 1925 daughter to the late Floyd and Maude Catoe Burgess. Margie is also preceded in death by her husband Bobbie Lee Aldridge and a daughter Betty Aldridge. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, July 3, 2010 in Gordon Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Aldridge is survived by two sons Carrol Dean Aldridge and Eddie L. Aldridge both of Monroe, NC, four daughters Rose Knight of Pageland, SC, Ann Phillips of Kannapolis, NC, Judy Newman of Monroe, NC and Ethel Hurst of Leland, NC, two brothers Harry Burgess of Lancaster, SC, and John Burgess of Pageland, SC, 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 2, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Gordon Funeral Service Crematory 1904 Lancaster Ave. Monroe NC 28112.
