Margie Griffin Walters, 86, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017. She was born in Union County, NC on February 14, 1931, daughter of the late Boyce H. Griffin and Ruby Keziah Griffin. She is also preceded in death by her husband Bradie Joel Walters, a son Danny Walters and a sister Dorothy Hartsell. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM, Monday, November 20, 2017 at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Walters is survived by two sons, Michael Walters, and Kenneth Walters but of Statesville, a daughter Patricia Eatmon of Wingate; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
