Marilyn "Bonnie" Lattuca

Marilyn Lavonne Horne Lattuca, 72, passed away Sunday May 8th, 2016. She was born December 4th, 1943, in Anson County, NC daughter to the late Floyd Sadie Thomas Horne. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Lattuca and two sons, Donald Scott Love and Marty Shane Love. Ms. Lattuca, aka “Bonnie” was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother and retired secretary from her career with the South Carolina Employment Commission. She was an avid gardener, loved to entertain with family and friends, decorate her home, loved to bake and was a wonderful cook. She loved animals and always had a pet by her side. A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, May 11th, 2016, in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 11:45am prior to the service. Ms. Lattuca is survived by her brother Ronnie Horne (Frankie) of Marshville NC, her sister Sylvia Bowen of Charlotte, NC, daughter Kim Geriner (Steve) of Monroe NC, her son Jeff Love (John Edelmann) of Arlington, VA, Charlene Weeks (Tommy) of Columbia SC, Tracy Hawks (Rick) of Columbia SC, three grandchildren Meghan Cook (Zac), Kristen Richardson (Nelson Woods) and Devan Richardson (Antwone Clyburn) and five great-grandchildren.
