Marion “Susan” Grier Steele, 66, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014. She was born December 3, 1948 in Union County, daughter of the late Marion and Mattie Walters Grier. She was an educator in the public school system. A memorial service will be Saturday, December 4, 2014 at 4:00 PM in Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
