Marjorie Ann Metz Mabry WAXHAW - Marjorie Ann Metz Mabry, 78, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013. She was born on April 11, 1934, in Urbana, Illinois, daughter of the late George and Charlotte Priddy Metz. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at 3:00 PM in the JAARS Townsend Center. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at 11:00 AM in Hermon Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Mabry is survived by her husband, John Daniel Mabry; sons, Max Mabry of St. Louis, Monte Mabry of Alaska, Dan Mabry of New Hampshire, and Sam Mabry of Texas; daughter, Kathy Svedberg of Waxhaw; sister, Carol Ventura of Kansas; and 17 grandchildren.
