Mark Helms, 44, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013. He was born in Union County, NC on July 7, 1969 son of M. T. Helms and the late Frances Ann Helms. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Gordon Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. Mr. Helms is survived by his father, M. T. Helms of Manning, SC, daughters, Jody Lee Helms of Matthews and Casey Lynn Helms of Wilmington, brother, Michael Timothy Helms of Monroe, sister, Lorrie Ann Gettys of Indian Trail and grandchildren, Emma Lynne Dunlow and Billy Wesson Sarvis.
