Marlene Carter Simpson, 82, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021. She was born August 25, 1938 in Cabarrus County, NC, daughter of the late Henry Grady and Mable Baucom Carter. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Reece Simpson. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Lakeland Memorial Park.
