Marqus Le Dontae Richardson

Marqus Le Dontae Richardson, 31 of Lancaster, SC., passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021. He was born at Union Memorial Hospital in Union County on August 28, 1990. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Gordon Funeral Chapel, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Gordon Funeral Service. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Carolina Tarheels, Denver Broncos and Florida Gators. He enjoyed golfing and playing video games and coaching sixth grade children. He was full of life and loved his family and friends dearly. Marqus graduated from Monroe High School in 2008 and graduated UNC Pembroke with his batchelor’s degree in 2012. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Marqus is survived by his loving wife Lynnique Johnson Richardson, father Lee Anthony Richardson wife Lawanda and mother Demittress Caraway Nelson husband Eddie, brothers Rodrick Little and Nigel Thomas, sister Jasmine Little, paternal grandmother Dorene Richardson, maternal grandmother Eyvonne Caraway, maternal great-grandparents Osborne and Delores Deese, special Aunt Tabitha Harris and husband Gerald, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
