Martha Elizabeth (Manus) Bigham

Martha Manus Bigham, 83, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012. She was born in Union County, NC on March 25, 1929 daughter of the late William Arthur and Amanda Helms Manus. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Waxhaw Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Bigham was preceded in death by her husband, David Edward Bigham. She is survived by her sons, Terry Eugene Bigham, Ronnie Edward Bigham and David Allen Bigham, daughter, Emily Knull, all of Waxhaw, sisters, Winnie Bagwell of Davidson, Wilma Ledford of Bessemer City, and Ollie Cannon of Greenville, SC, 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28112. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Union County, 700 W.
