Martha Lyn Wilson

Martha Lyn Fudge Wilson, formally of Bramwell, WV, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021, peacefully at her home in Waxhaw, NC. She was born September 29, 1953, in Mercer County WV, daughter of the late Joseph Charles Fudge and Lotus Ryan Fudge. She was also preceded in death by her husband of forty-one years, Tommy D. Wilson and their son, Thomas Ashley Wilson. Martha was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. She worked as a surgical nurse at Orthopedic Hospital in Charlotte NC. She also was a long standing member of Weddington United Methodist Church. A celebration of life service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 6, 2021 at Weddington United Methodist Church, 13901 Providence Rd, Weddington, NC 28104. Survivors include Sisters-in-Law Kay Gialenios of Concord, NC; Virginia Wilson of Charlotte, NC; nieces Debra Phillips of Concord, NC; Pamela Godsil of Phoenix, AZ; nephew Edward Peninger, II, (E.J.) of Charlotte, NC; four cousins and several great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorials be made to Weddington United Methodist Church.
