Marty Walter Spittle, 60, of Waxhaw, NC passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026, with family by his side. He was born in Union County, NC on April 16, 1966, son to the late William Walter Spittle Jr. and Linda Gordon Spittle. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Piper Davis.

Marty was a mechanic by trade and an avid dirt track race car driver. He was well known for his purple & white #45.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00PM on Monday June 29, 2026, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Ave, Monroe, NC 28112. The family will receive friends following the service at Gordon Funeral Service.

Marty is survived by his son, Marty “Bubba” Spittle Jr. and his wife Kimberly, three daughters, Stacy Davis and husband Russ, Ashley Baltz and husband Stephen, Brittany Plyler, brother, Eric Spittle, and sister, Pamela Sterling and husband Allen, and 2 grandsons, Cooper, Braxton.
