Marvin Dwight Price

Marvin Dwight Price, age 75 passed away on December 3, 2011. He was born in Unionville, NC to the late Marvin Erastus and Mildred Haigler Price. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Ann Price; two children Jackie Price Shaw (husband Mike), and Eddie Dwight Price (wife Robin); four grand-children, Brittany and Brett Shaw, and Abbey and Elijah Price; one sister Lynda Williams (husband, Tim). He is also survived by Beth Plyler Price Casey, his children's mother. He was preceded in death by another sister, Joyce Stegall. Dwight was known for his love of music and shared his God-given talent in many churches throughout the area. He also enjoyed a distinguished career in the trucking industry and retired from Mack Trucks, Inc. For the last 5 years he was employed by Hendrick Chevrolet Monroe. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on December 5, 2011 at Calvary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12:45pm prior to the service.
